To mark the blessed beginning of a new academic chapter, Sacred Heart Convent School, Sri Ganganagar, held a special assembly steeped in reverence and hope. The morning air was filled with anticipation and joy as the entire school community gathered to invoke divine blessings for the New Scholastic Year.
The solemn programme commenced with the auspicious lighting of the ceremonial lamp by our esteemed Rev. Fr. Manager, Rev. Fr. Jobin, in the gracious presence of our revered Sister Principals, dedicated staff members, and bright student representatives. This sacred ritual, symbolising the dispelling of ignorance and the illumination of knowledge, set a divine tone for the events to follow.
A soulful prayer service, led by our beloved Rev. Sister Principal, enveloped the atmosphere with serenity and spiritual fervour. With folded hands and hearts full of faith, the school offered prayers for a fruitful and enriching academic year.
The highlight of the morning was the graceful Prayer Dance—a captivating performance woven with elegance and devotion. Every movement seemed to rise as an offering to the Almighty, beautifully embodying the spirit of the day.
In a heartwarming gesture of dedication, students symbolically presented a globe, a young sapling, the school uniform, and essential learning materials—offering them as part of a symbolic haavan to the New Year. Each item represented a heartfelt commitment to nurture the world, grow in knowledge and discipline, and uphold the values of Sacred Heart.
Rev. Fr. Manager then addressed the gathering with a message filled with warmth, wisdom, and affection. He extended his heartfelt wishes to every child, gently reminding them of their sacred duties and responsibilities as torchbearers of the future. His words resonated deeply, inspiring all present to walk the path of diligence, truth, and compassion.
The ceremony concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem, echoing a sense of unity and pride as the school community stepped into the New Year with renewed vigour and unwavering faith.
