BIDDING FAREWELL, HOLDING ON TO MEMORIES

BIDDING FAREWELL, HOLDING ON TO MEMORIES…..

At Sacred Heart Convent School, Sri Ganganagar, we recently gathered as one family to bid a heartfelt farewell to four of our most cherished members Rev. Sr. Phincy (Principal), Rev. Sr. Mercy (Superior), Rev. Sr. Tresa Toppo (Principal, KG Wing) and Ms. Sheela Nair (Hindi Pandit). This gathering was more than a formal goodbye—it was a celebration of their legacy, an expression of love, unity, and deep gratitude.

The event began with a solemn prayer ceremony, invoking God’s blessings upon our departing members. This was followed by a soulful prayer dance that uplifted the spiritual atmosphere and set the tone for the day. The staff, with hearts full of admiration, expressed their appreciation through a medley of cultural performances—songs, dances, speeches, poems, and even a fun-filled Quiz Trivia to add a touch of lightness to the emotional occasion.

Rev. Fr. Jobin, in his signature style of powerful brevity, delivered a moving address, highlighting the unique qualities and immense contributions of each honouree with words that carried depth and weight. His reflection was followed by Rev. Fr. Manager, whose message, immersed in grace and gratitude, eloquently acknowledged the selfless service and unwavering dedication of these stalwarts—true pillars of the institution.

The departing members, in their touching speeches, conveyed the heaviness of parting but also radiated gratitude—for the constant support from the management and the shared mission they all held close to their hearts. They each acknowledged how deeply the cooperation of the staff contributed to the success of their journey at Sacred Heart.

As a token of love, bouquets and gifts were presented to all of them by the management and staff, expressing in gesture what words could hardly capture. The morning concluded with a warm Brench (Breakfast cum Lunch)—a meal shared in the spirit of family, laughter, and fond remembrance.

This farewell was not just a goodbye—it was a tribute, a celebration of lives well lived in service, hearts poured out in dedication, and bonds that time will never erase.

May God continue to bless Rev. Sr. Phincy, Rev. Sr. Mercy, Rev. Sr. Tresa Toppo and Ms. Sheela Nair, as they begin new chapters, carrying with them the love and prayers of the Sacred Heart family.
