The programme commenced with a prayerful invocation, creating an atmosphere of reflection and openness. This was followed by a warm and formal welcome extended to Rev. Sr. Arpana by Rev. Sr. Principal, who expressed her joy and gratitude for the facilitator’s gracious presence. Rev. Sr. Arpana holds a B.A. in Music from GGS College, Chandigarh, a Diploma in Basic Counselling Skills from Montfort College, Bangalore, and an M.Sc. in Counselling Psychology from Montfort College, Bangalore, with specialization in Marriage and Family Counselling. Presently, she serves as the Counsellor at St. Joseph Convent School, Jalandhar. Renowned for her expertise, compassionate approach, and inspiring personality, she has touched countless lives through her dedicated service. The central theme of the orientation was Self-Awareness—understanding oneself as the foundation for leading a meaningful and fulfilling life. Through thought-provoking insights, interactive activities, and reflective exercises, Rev. Sr. Arpana guided the teachers on a journey of self-discovery. She emphasized that when educators recognize their strengths, acknowledge their limitations with acceptance, and cultivate an attitude of gratitude by counting their blessings, they become emotionally stronger and more effective in their noble vocation of teaching—a profession that demands immense patience, empathy, resilience, and understanding in today’s ever-changing educational landscape. The session was a perfect blend of knowledge, inspiration, introspection, and practical wisdom. Far from being a conventional lecture, it was lively, interactive, and highly engaging. Every activity was thoughtfully designed to help participants connect deeply with the topic, making the learning both meaningful and enjoyable. The enthusiasm in the hall remained high throughout the programme, with every teacher actively involved and eagerly participating. The session kept everyone attentive, energized, and fully engaged from beginning to end. The programme concluded with heartfelt feedback from the teachers, who expressed their sincere appreciation for the enriching experience and acknowledged how relevant and inspiring the session had been for their personal as well as professional growth. The formal vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Ekta Arora. Rev. Fr. Manager, conveyed his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Rev. Sr. Arpana for graciously accepting the invitation and making every effort to conduct the orientation despite the challenges and unforeseen circumstances. He thanked her for her valuable time, inspiring guidance, and unwavering commitment to nurturing educators with wisdom, compassion, and hope.
