FIT TODAY, STRONG TOMORROW
To promote the importance of a healthy lifestyle, an informative and engaging programme on “Yoga as a Preventive Measure for Lifestyle Diseases” was organized at Sacred Heart Convent School, Sri Ganganagar.
The students of Class XII-B beautifully explained and demonstrated various yogasanas that help prevent and manage common lifestyle diseases such as obesity, asthma, hypertension, diabetes, and back pain. They also highlighted the procedure, benefits, and contraindications of each asana, enabling the audience to understand the correct and safe practice of yoga.
Adding energy and enthusiasm to the programme, the students of Class XI Arts presented a vibrant Aerobics Performance. Their lively display emphasized that aerobics is a fun and effective form of exercise that strengthens the heart, builds stamina, improves flexibility, reduces stress, and encourages an active and healthy lifestyle.
The programme served as a meaningful reminder that regular physical activity and yoga are essential for maintaining physical fitness, mental well-being, and overall health. It inspired everyone present to embrace healthier habits and make wellness a part of their daily lives.
