Sacred Heart Convent School, Sri Ganganagar, recently conducted a grand and memorable special assembly to honour students for their exemplary achievements in extracurricular activities. The event served as a platform to acknowledge and celebrate the talents and dedication of students who have excelled in various cultural, literary, and sports competitions. As a token of appreciation, certificates and mementos were bestowed upon the deserving winners, recognizing their hard work and commitment.

The awards covered a wide array of activities, reflecting the diverse interests and talents of the students. The competitions included solo dance, rangoli making, christmas tree making, drawing, parade, group song, fancy dress, diya decoration, card making, group dance, best out of waste, Christmas bell making, candy making, bookmark making, speech, extempore, debate, declamation, quiz, essay writing, spell bee, and poem recitation etc. The variety of events ensured that every student had the opportunity to showcase their unique abilities and creativity.

The highlight of the special assembly was the much-anticipated announcement of the Winning House. In a thrilling and closely contested competition, the Red House emerged victorious, securing the coveted First Position under the able guidance of Mr. Tarun Dhunna and Ms. Harsimran Kaur. Their tireless efforts and strategic mentoring led the house to triumph. The Yellow House, demonstrating exceptional effort and team spirit, secured the Runner-up trophy under the dedicated mentorship of Mr. Rahul and Ms. Ritu Nagpal. The competition was indeed a neck-and-neck battle, with every house striving to outshine the other, but the unwavering determination and coordinated efforts of Red House proved their mettle and earned them the well-deserved victory.

The school management took immense pride in the achievements of all the students and commended their enthusiasm, dedication, and sportsmanship. They extended heartfelt congratulations to the winners and applauded the sincere participation of all four houses. Special appreciations and kudos extend to the cultural in-charges Ms. Ekta, Ms. Mandeep Kaur and Ms. Usha Sharma and the literary in- charges Ms. Zoya Bhadu, Ms. Ritu Tiwari and Ms. Gurveen Kaur for their commitment and guidance.
