A TRIBUTE TO THE GUIDING LIGHTS!
Sacred Heart Convent School, Sri Ganganagar, celebrated Teachers’ Day with great joy, gratitude and enthusiasm, honouring the teachers who tirelessly nurture, inspire and shape young minds.
The celebration began on a graceful note with a prayer dance, followed by a prayer and an inspiring message by Rev. Sr. Marina, setting a serene and meaningful tone for the occasion. The students then expressed their love and appreciation for their teachers through a delightful blend of dances, musical presentations, speeches and skits. The vibrant performances by Classes VI and XII, the charming Kindergarten presentations and the entertaining skits by Kindergarten and Classes VIII & IX filled the atmosphere with laughter, joy and celebration.
The programme was graced by Rev. Fr. Varghese, the Manager; Rev. Fr. Jobin, the Assistant Manager; Rev. Sr. Soumya, the Principal; and Rev. Sr. Ninet, Principal of Kindergarten. In his message, Rev. Fr. Varghese beautifully acknowledged the dedication and selfless service of teachers, reminding everyone that teaching is not merely a profession but a noble vocation of shaping lives, instilling values and guiding children towards becoming responsible and compassionate individuals. His words served as a heartfelt tribute to the entire teaching fraternity.
A particularly memorable moment was the presence of Ms. Sheela, the Chief Guest, who served the institution with remarkable dedication for 28 years before her retirement two years ago. In recognition of her long and valuable service, she was felicitated with a memento by Rev. Fr. Jobin and Rev. Sr. Soumya. Her words, filled with affection, wisdom and cherished memories, added a deeply emotional touch to the celebration and reminded everyone of the lasting legacy of a devoted teacher.
The fun-filled games added laughter and togetherness to the occasion, bringing teachers and students in a spirit of joy. The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, followed by the National Anthem.
The special program by the faculty members held in the auditorium added much more beauty to the day.
The celebration was truly a beautiful tribute to the guiding lights of the school—the teachers, whose patience, dedication, wisdom and love continue to illuminate the path of countless young lives. It was a day of gratitude, appreciation, cherished memories and joyful togetherness
